To All of our Friends and Family,

 You all have been so awesome in faithfully praying for Dan and me this last year.  Today I'm asking you to pray for my brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Alyca Leet and their family.  This evening I got word that last night both Alyca's father and their son-in-law's father have passed away yesterday/last night.

Alyca's dad has been suffering from congestive heart failure and while it wasn't shockingly unexpected, they had not known it was imminent.  Their son-in-law's father's death was very sudden and very unexpected.

They are in South Florida right now b/c my brother works for a Christian School there.  He does a lot of his work remotely from Iowa where they live most of the year, but they rent an apt. for a few months out of the year when he needs to be in Florida in person.  Alyca's father is in Central Florida and their daughter and son-in-law and his family are in Iowa.

Needless to say they feel as if they need to be in both places but that is impossible.  The daughter and son-in-law are in the middle of marriage problems which further complicates the emotional landscape.

We also wish we could be in both places but probably will not get to either.

Both men who passed away were believers and in that we can and will rejoice.  Please pray for both families as they say good-bye to dearly loved fathers/grandpas/great-grandpas.   For my brother and sister-in-law, especially, please pray for emotional, physical and spiritual strength and stamina.  I know they will be ministering to others in the midst of their own grief and loss.
And please pray that the celebration of the lives of these godly men will be huge testimonies, especially to the family members who are not saved or who are not in fellowship with their Lord and Savior.
